I had a nightmare yesterday. It seems all distant right now, yet so vivid. I dreamt that I was in this tall building which I needed to walk the stairs in order to exit. I remember walking down flights and flights of stairs, yet I was always at the top. And then suddenly when I was at this particular flight of stairs, I turned and realize the railing was broken. I looked down and to my horror; I realized I was still at the top of the building after climbing so many flights of stairs. I was about to fall, but someone came and gave me her hands. She said she will get help for me, but she didn’t return. I was left alone, stranded at the top of the building, my life in danger. I remember I shivered non-stop because of the height. I pleaded to the person beside me to save me, I told him I had phobia for heights and I was going to die. But aid never reached me..
I woke up because my mummy rang. I was so afraid I was going to die; the feeling remained even after I have woken up. Maybe one day, I will really be stranded. I don’t know what I’ll do then.
In the afternoon, I went to clark quay to meet JJ for camp discussion. He bloody made me wait for an hour for him. And that was because he forgot he was supposed to meet me at clark quay and not Plaza Singapura! But never mind.
I went home and napped. I need to, to keep my mind off things. And then I went to meet Meiqi to discuss the chalet stuffs. We ended up talking more than work. So we sat there until my daddy called. I went home feeling slightly light-hearted than I was, I don’t know why.
But the fear is still there. I just can’t shake that off.
Sighs. This is really the first time after so long, I am blogging about my day. I. Need. To. do something to stop me from thinking. Oh well.
