Today reminded me of the day i had to say goodbye to my children in Hanoi. I have never felt so attached to any children in my line of work before and that day, i cried. I cried really hard.

Today the teachers had to send off four children to their own future. One without us, but once with. I asked a kid if she will remember me when she return to France and she said she will. She proceeded to give me a big hug and a smile which i am not about to forget so soon. I told her i'll miss her and hell, you bet i will.
I was trying so hard not to let my emotions show and i had to resort to biting my tongue when i had to say goodbye to all of them. One teacher said to me, 'Being in this line, there are many goodbyes which you need to say. You just have to get used to it.'
I know about goodbyes and i know how hard goodbyes can be. But i am not very sure i am ready to say goodbye to anybody forever.
How, how am I going to go through this when August arrives?
